Quality Control Technician
About me…
My name is Eny Hrelja, I’m a sanitary technician by profession, and I recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in occupational safety. My story at JGL began in 2019 in the Quality Control department, where I worked as a packaging technician, then in the physical-chemical laboratory, and currently I work in the instrumentation laboratory.
About my workday…
My workdays vary greatly because of the variety of analyses that we carry out. In general, I start my workday by reviewing the previous day’s analysis and then preparing and conducting a new one.
About challenges at work...
The challenges I face in my work are mostly related to the time required for analysis and, accordingly, the deadlines and unexpected changes we face as a team while organising our work.
About the team environment…
In the Quality Control department, teamwork is the basis of the way we do things, which in my personal opinion creates a highly effective place for learning, where a wide range of people with different knowledge and experience collaborate. This gives each of us the opportunity to learn something new and to transfer our knowledge, thoughts and conclusions in order to improve processes in the long term and develop as a department.
About work motivation…
I am motivated by challenges, the desire for knowledge and advancement, and by setting new goals and achieving them in the future. I would say that at work, I am most proud of the friendly and cheerful employees of the Quality Control department, whom I also greatly appreciate, and who make every difficult day seem less difficult and every obstacle less significant.
About working at JGL…
For me, JGL is a place of belonging and opportunities, where people who work together as a team have been making big dreams of a small Croatian company and great people whose story began modestly come true for 31 years.
About the desire for new knowledge…
In addition to graduating, I plan to continue my education by enrolling in a specialist study programme in occupational safety, considering that in my work at JGL, I see a daily need for a person with knowledge of chemistry and analytics, as well as occupational safety.
About success and satisfaction…
I think that my biggest success, both personally and professionally, is the amount of knowledge and experience that I acquired in this short time at JGL. I also believe that balancing studies, a new job and everyday life can be considered a great success as well.
