The vision that inspires us is that we want to be one of the leading international pharmaceutical companies in the development and production of innovative pharmaceutical products in three therapeutic areas: cold and flu, ophthalmology and dermatology.
In order to makte this vision come to life, we continuously invest in production, development and research capacities that support our growth.
Pharma Valley
In 2015, the Pharma Valley complex was opened in Rijeka, and the entire investment includes the production location Svilno 1 (automated production line of eye drops, microbiological laboratory and sterility laboratory) and Svilno 2 (storage facilities, production facilities, power plant, IT server, office premises and accompanying contents).
Integra
Integra is our investment and development project completed in 2023, that includes the construction of a sterile plant for pharmaceutical production, research and development, a new pilot plant, and a robotised logistics and distribution centre at two sites – Svilno and Kukuljanovo. This investment ranks us among companies whose investments in development significantly surpass the European average.

In production and business processes, we use advanced technological and ecological solutions with the aim of achieving the maximum possible energy savings.
JGL and the Green Economy
Solar panels for hot water preparation/production was our first foray into using renewable energy sources. While obtaining energy certifications, we identified our weak points and started thinking about how to reach a higher energy class. Today, for example, we only purchase electricity produced from renewable sources and are proud owners of the ZelEn green energy trademark.
