Head of Laboratory for Quality Control
About me…
I joined JGL at the end of 2014, immediately after completing my studies in Food Engineering at the Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology in Zagreb. I am employed in the Quality Control Department, first as a Quality Control Specialist, and recently as the Head of Laboratory for Quality Control.
About work challenges…
Although seemingly routine, working in Quality Control is extremely dynamic. Each working day brings new challenges in coordinating and planning analyses. Regardless of the sheer scope of work to be done and the tight deadlines, as well as the changes brought about by the pandemic, the department has a good work ethic and a friendly atmosphere, which greatly facilitates overcoming all obstacles.
About the team environment…
Teamwork is one of the core values of JGL and is therefore deeply rooted both within and across departments. The sense of belonging in JGL is manifested in shared responsibility and mutual trust in order to achieve mutual goals.
About motivation and interests…
I derive great pleasure from my work environment. I am happy and motivated by the joint successes of my team, a team that proves day in and day out that everything is possible with a little positive energy and by joining forces.
About the desire for new knowledge…
I love learning and facing new challenges, I think it is an important aspect of personal growth. Given my recent change in position at work , I am currently striving to acquire managerial knowledge and skills.
About my hobbies…
Interests or hobbies is something I don’t lack for sure. In addition to recreational sports (volleyball, running), indie music, cinema and photography, I am a great lover of nature, so I try to spend my free time in the mountains as often as possible.
