Head of Key Account Management in Belarus
About me…
My name is Semen Savelyev. I am the current Head of Key Account Management in Belarus. I have been working at JGL for six years, almost since the opening of the branch office in the Republic of Belarus. I started my career as an emergency room technician while simultaneously attending the Faculty of Environmental Medicine at the International Sakharov Environmental University. Following graduation, I worked at the company Arterium as an expert associate. After three years, I learned about JGL opening a branch office in Belarus. Here, I also initially worked as an expert associate and was subsequently made Pharmacy Chain Manager and then Key Account Manager.
About my workday…
My current tasks mostly involve working with pharmacy chains in the Republic of Belarus and distributors. I am in charge of organising orders, as well as controlling shipments and the conditions in storage facilities. My workday usually revolves around contract management at pharmacy chains and ensuring the constant availability of goods for distributors.
About motivation and being proud of JGL…
At work, I am mostly motivated by the opportunities to implement interesting products, as well as meeting and working with key clients of pharmacy chains and distributors in Belarus. The results of my work are my greatest pride. Working with lesser-known brands who have become market leaders during your tenure at the company creates not only pride but motivation for future success.
About memorable moments…
I have a very fond memory of the early beginnings of the branch office in Belarus. Back then, we didn’t have our own office, so we held meetings at the food court of a shopping mall where we discussed current issues and made plans over a cup of coffee (laughs). One of the more recent unforgettable moments was when the Aqua Maris Brand won the Number One Award for being the best in its category.
About my hobbies…
In my free time, I often go to the gym, learn English, and spend time with family and friends. When I am on holiday, I try to travel, preferably to countries with a warmer climate and coast. My long-term goal is to become a vital contributor to the success of the branch office and the company.
