About me…
My name is Srećko Godinić. I am currently working at JGL as Storage Operator. I am 34 years old, and I graduated from high school at the Technical School of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture in Rijeka. I have been with JGL for almost 2 years, working in the warehouse for incoming materials.
About my workday…
During my working day we first solve the production tasks for that day, which includes preparing the delivery note, entering the incoming materials into our database, receiving the materials, transferring it from the wooden pallet to the plastic one, gluing on the corresponding JGL stickers and then loading the prepared materials into the automated warehouse. There are, of course, all the unexpected daily tasks that occur every day. Towards the end of the shift, I do repairs on the returned production materials.
About work challenges…
The biggest challenge for me is when there is incoming material but there is no room for it at that moment, so the real challenge is to sort it all out somehow, while keeping it all organized and in line. After 12 years of working in various warehouses, I can say that I do really well with such challenges.
About the team environment…
I am a social person, so working in a team is very important to me, and JGL doesn't disappoint in that aspect.
About motivation...
I am quite a hardworking person by nature, so I don't need any special motivation to work. I love when there is a job to be done, I feel much better when I finish my work day productively.
About working at JGL…
I have said many times that JGL is definitely my best employer I’ve had so far, and I have as many as 10 years work experience in Croatia and 2 years work experience in Ireland. At JGL, I don't feel like a company statistic, the environment is nurturing and I have never felt reluctant to come to work. I like JGL 's intelligent approach to work and the fact that JGL continuously invests in the well-being of its employees.
About the desire for new knowledge...
I strive to gain new knowledge and I want to keep up with the advanced and modern technology I use in my workplace.
About my hobbies…
In my free time I do recreational fishing off the coast, which brings me tremendous joy.
About success and satisfaction…
I don’t have anything yet to name as my biggest success, but I think there’s still time for that. I do find satisfaction in everything I do, and I simply choose not to do things that don’t give me pleasure.
