Leading domestic entrepreneurs, bankers, and economic experts convened in Petrčane, Zadar, for the 21st HBOR Export Promotion Conference, where they discussed Croatia’s current economic landscape, credit opportunities, export potential, and key topics like sustainable development and the green transition.
The panel titled “Deglobalisation in Action: How International Trade Fragmentation Affects Croatian Exports” also featured Eva Usmiani Capobianco, a member of the JGL Board of Directors. The discussion addressed topics such as geopolitical risks, climate change, wars, and cyber (in)security, all of which are reshaping the dynamics of global trade.
A particular emphasis was placed on Croatia’s future positioning and improving competitiveness in a changing environment. The discussion also explored how the Croatian industry can leverage innovation, technological advancements, and sustainability to boost its competitiveness in the global market.
“With 86% of the total sales of the JGL portfolio generated through exports, we are present in 64 markets via various cooperation models, ranging from contract manufacturing to exclusive distribution,” highlighted Usmiani Capobianco during the panel. She was joined by Marinko Došen, President of the Management Board of AD Plastika, Zvonimir Viduka, Director of ALTPRO, Gordan Kolak, President of the Management Board of the Končar Group, and Svjetlan Stanić, President of the Management Board of the Stanić Group.
