JGL at the CPhl Fair 2009 in Madrid

Jadran Galenski laboratorij d.d. (JGL) participated in the International Pharmaceutical Fair CPhI Worldwide 2009 (Chemical Pharmaceutical Industry) for the second consecutive year, held in Madrid, Spain, from 13 to 15 October 2010.

JGL presented several segments from its pharmaceutical business range: product marketing, licensing, contractual production, developmental projects. The company has thus stepped out of the limelight and created new opportunities for its entrance into the global market. In the sterile solution segment, in which JGL has invested significant resources and acquired the GMP certificate, the company was presented as a highly interesting partner. It again emphasized its exporting potential regarding ophthalmological products, and is established as the main regional producer.

The CPhl fair is a unique place connecting all current trades within the pharmaceutical industry and a place to make business contacts which can potentially lead to new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical industry. CPhI Worldwide includes producers of APIs, finished products, excipients and natural extracts. This year the fair celebrated its 20th anniversary, with over 1 500 exhibitors and 25 000 visitors.

Specialized events such as ISCE /International Contract Services Expo/ and P-MEC /Pharmaceutical Machinery Equipment Convention / covering additional activities and services related to the pharmaceutical industry and business were also a part of the programme.

Certainly the most important event was the presentation of the overall JGL portfolio, and the particularly important OTC Aqua Maris brand which became JGL's main export and a potentially global product line.
