For the fifth year in a row, HEP Opskrba and ZelEn customers, including JGL, landscaped the area and planted trees around HEP’s hydroelectric power plant.
As part of the ZelEn project, the "100 green trees” campaign was now conducted in the area of the Vinodol hydroelectric power plant, with the aim of contributing to the United Nations’ programme initiated in 2010 under the name "A billion of green actions – an international movement protecting the planet and ensuring a sustainable future”.
In addition to hosts from the Vinodol hydroelectric power plant, the campaign was supported by the employees of HEP Opskrba and the representatives of HEP Proizvodnja, as well as by ZelEn customers. Dalibor Starčević, Technical Support Manager at JGL, participated in the campaign on behalf of JGL. On this occasion, he said that JGL wanted to stimulate the production of energy from renewable sources, in order to increase its competitiveness compared to the energy gained from traditional sources, as well as to continually encourage economic growth in the region.
