On 8 May 2016, one of the most beautiful tracks in the world stretched from Zadar's Forum to the town of Primošten, under the slogan "Whole world - one goal" and "Run for those who can't". As many as seven thousand competitors participated in the global humanitarian race Wings for Life starting in Zadar, a town hosting the race for the third time already.
For the second year in a row, JGL's team took part in the race with great enthusiasm, contributing to the project aimed at drawing attention to spinal cord injuries and raising funds for scientific research conducted to find solutions and improve the quality of life of the injured.
Around 20 members of JGL's team ran a total of 213 kilometres in Zadar together with runners from 203 countries of the world. The most important thing of all was, of course, the noble and motivational goal.
"For me, the most important thing was participating in the achievement of a noble goal, helping those who can't run and providing financial support to the newest research of spinal cord injuries. It doesn't matter whether it's five, ten or fifteen kilometres - what's important is showing good will and being a part of this great humanitarian project. See you next year," said Oliver Travaš, global segment manager at JGL and the captain of JGL's team.
