JGL Pharmacy Museum Receives Important Award for Interior Design

The JGL Pharmacy Museum has won the prestigious BigSEE 2021 Interior Design Award in the "Civic” category.

The well-timed recognition coincides with the Museum’s anniversary and adds to the plethora of awards that the company has won for a number of projects. The designer behind the exhibit and interior space of the JGL Pharmacy Museum is architect Gorana Stipeč Brlić from the AO16 d.o.o. studio for architecture and urbanism, who considers the award to be a recognition of their successful work.

"The goal in creating the design was to harmonize aesthetics and think beyond the traditional categories of arranging museum spaces. The aim of the Museum is to present the modernity and history of pharmacy to the average visitor as well as to professionals. We are proud that the efforts of our entire team have been recognized and rewarded,” says Stipeč Brlić. The BigSEE awards cover a wide range of design niches and reward outstanding achievements in twenty countries in Southeast Europe, which makes the award all the more significant, she adds.

Nowadays the BIG SEE Awards contribute to the global promotion of unique and original achievements in architecture, interior design, wood, tourism, product and fashion design. This award opens doors for winners to gain international recognition for their work.
