In the last week of October, JGL welcomed Lejla Pock, CEO of the Human Technology Styria (HTS) cluster from Graz, continuing a successful series of collaborations and knowledge exchanges aimed at strengthening the business competitiveness of our company.
Pock met with our teams from the departments of Global Business Development, Research and Development, and Pharmaceutical and Technical Operations, and the discussion was focused on further improving and upgrading our development projects in line with innovative technological trends. As part of the visit, a Cooperation Agreement was signed with HTS, formalising and strengthening the partnership aimed at long-term exchange of knowledge and continuous improvement of processes.
The HTS cluster, which gathers more than 150 medical technology and biotechnology companies, is the biggest hub in Europe and the leading centre of excellence in research, development and innovation. With the largest clinic in Austria, HTS also represents a strong link between the academic community, industry and the public sector. By combining new technologies with the needs of the healthcare industry, HTS encourages innovation and provides access to best practices in the sector.
The Network project takes cooperation between the HTS cluster and JGL to a new level, focused on strengthening competencies and innovation in the pharmaceutical industry. Both the geographical and cultural proximity of HTS facilitates our interconnection and creates a greater opportunity for access to new projects in the segments of R&D, digital innovation, market development, process optimisation and automation, good clinical practice, and research.
The first meeting of HTS’s representatives and JGL’s multidisciplinary team was held in March 2024, establishing a strong connection from the outset. We later hired SimVantage to optimise some of our development processes using their advanced simulation tools that optimise efficiency and enable resource savings.
This Cooperation Agreement presents a solid basis for the future, where every exchange of knowledge, partnership, and mutual project opens up new horizons and enables us to build and improve our competencies and further improve the quality of our products and services.
