Croatian exporters presented JGL with the "Zlatni ključ” award in the category of the "Most innovative exporter in 2017.”
The annual award is presented to the best exporters by the Croatian Exporters Association based on the decision of an expert committee consisting of representatives of the Croatian Exporters Association, Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Croatian Chamber of Economy, Croatian Employers' Association, Financial Agency (FINA), Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts, Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Croatian Bureau of Statistics, Customs administration, Croatian Agency for SMEs, Innovations and Investments (HAMAG-BICRO), Croatian Radiotelevision, and Croatian Business Angels Network (CRANE).
"The global pharmaceutical market calls for constant agility in recognising new trends and understanding a wider international picture that requires long-term planning and adapting to the specificities of consumers in various countries and regions,” said JGL’s CEO Mislav Vučić, adding: "Our state-of-the-art JGL Pharma Valley facility enables us to develop innovations in our portfolio, primarily in the field of eye and nose protection, which has been recognised by consumers everywhere from Rijeka to Manila.”
The Croatian Exporters Association, headed by President Darinko Bago, once again rewarded JGL’s export-based business model that includes an innovative approach to development and manufacturing, as well as product launches on foreign markets – from the Russian market, which has accounted for most of JGL’s sales for many years now, to other European, Middle East, African, and ASEAN markets.
The JGL Group operates directly on nine markets in Southeastern Europe and CIS, and in additional 46 markets through B2B partners, using out-licensing models and contract manufacturing. The company’s portfolio is currently made up of 160 brands, 460 products, 1,360 variations, and 6,000 articles, and it is adapted to the specificities of each market.
