Marina Pulišić, member of the Management Board of Jadran Galenski Laboratorij, has been appointed the president of the Executive Board of CEA's Association of Medicines Manufacturers for a mandate of one year.
Marina Pulišić, M.Sc. pharm., was born on 26 February 1958 in Đakovo. A pharmacist by profession, she started her career in 1983 in Rijeka, in the "JADRAN" pharmacy, which served as the basis for the founding of JADRAN - Galenski laboratorij (JGL) in 1991. She has participated in all stages of the company's growth and development, performing an entire range of various jobs and is currently a member of the Management Board of JGL d.d. She is an active and wholehearted supporter of the pharmaceutical profession, pointing out numerous values of this interdisciplinary area which gives experts extraordinary breadth and platform for performing even the most responsible jobs.
CEA - Association of Medicines Manufacturers is comprised of eight members: Pliva, Belupo, JGL, Krka, Hospira, PharmaS, Farmal and IMZ, which make up almost 100 % of domestic production of medicines. Its strength is evident from the fact that the Croatian pharmaceutical industry employs 4,600 mostly highly educated workers, and the number of employees in the domestic pharmaceutical industry in the supplier chain amounts to 10,000. Members of CEA's Association generate about HRK 5 billion in annual gross revenue and invest almost 5.5 percent of the revenue in research and development.
