I have dreamed of a Pharmaceutical Medicine study programme in Rijeka, and it is now becoming true. JGL is a teaching institution of the University of Rijeka in the field of biotechnology, and I believe it will also soon be for the field of pharmacy. Pharmacy is one of the strategic industries and it is significant that we will have our own workforce pool in Rijeka,” said Ivo Usmiani.
At the working protocol meeting before the conference, the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Zagreb, the Faculty of Medicine in Rijeka and the Department of Biotechnology signed an Agreement Regulating Mutual Rights and Obligations, which was followed by a visit to the production facilities within the JGL Pharma Valley complex and a tour of the JGL Museum of Pharmacy. Visitors were impressed by what they saw, and the group were commended for their efforts, which was both a rewarding experience and an incentive for further growth and development.
