JGL has once again proved its competencies and the competitiveness of its ophthalmology portfolio by launching a new product in the OTC medication category on the Croatian market – Viset 0.5 mg/ml eye drops, tetrahydrozoline hydrochloride solution, 10 ml.
The new, preservative-free eye drops are a product of JGL employees’ knowledge and JGL’s own development process, which is based on manufacturing competencies and proven success of the ophthalmology product line in the Rx and OTC product categories.
The tetrahydrozoline Viset eye drops are intended for reducing eye redness and decongesting the mucosa of the eye in cases of non-infectious eye irritations caused by:
- g. smoke, dust, wind, chlorinated water, light
- or an allergic reaction of the eye.
Its composition, with tetrahydrozoline hydrochloride 0.5 mg/ml as the active ingredient, is preservative-free, which is one of the significant advantages of the product. Its main properties include rapid action and effects lasting several hours. After applying locally on the conjunctiva, the Viset tetrahydrozoline eye drops constrict blood vessels in the eye within minutes, which lasts 4 to 8 hours.
Eye redness is a common occurrence, which can be caused by a variety of conditions, but it is usually a symptom of other eye disorders, ranging from benign to serious. It is therefore necessary to carefully read the package leaflet before using Viset eye drops, and consult a doctor or pharmacist regarding any risks and side effects.

Children between the ages of 2 and 12: usage is not recommended without prior consultation with a doctor. Do not use the product in infants and children under the age of 2.
Contact lenses must be removed prior to use, and can be replaced 15 minutes after applying the drops.
